Timeless Romanticism.
Elder & Wild and Hire Twenty One thoughtfully curated three distinct vignettes within the historic priory, incorporating unexpected elements that both respond to and complement the space. The vignettes include a floral installation that plays off the soaring height of the North Grange and the delicate light filtering through the mullioned windows, a modern tablescape that strikes a balance between detail and simplicity, and a decadent dessert table that redefines the traditional wedding cake display. The entire design is unified by a muted color palette of neutrals, yellow-green, silver, and cherry.

A contrast of textures, organic sculptural forms, and soft elements. Arrangements of fruit and flowers, both curated and informal, are nestled in scrunched waxed fabric and gathered in footed bowls. The tableware features delicately textured, handmade ceramics and vintage silverware, paired with sleek cocktail glasses and marble candlesticks. The stone backdrop for the table setup is echoed in the place names, handwritten on fragments of limestone.
Towering branches of white poplar, adorned with the occasional tulip, form the structure of the installation, creating an architectural, immersive, and subtle experience. Elsewhere in the priory, footed bowls filled with seasonal spring flowers and fruit add a touch of softness throughout the space.
The gowns and accessories were chosen for their modern, understated elegance. The selection of dresses and separates brings a chic, contemporary look while still capturing the timeless essence of classic wedding attire.

A mix of texture and form creates a relaxed yet decadent dessert table. Hand-piped meringue swans are paired with small jellies, fruit-topped cake, and a syrupy croque-en-bouche. A statement cake, adorned with edible sugar petals, is designed to capture the soft light streaming into the historic Scriptorium and echo the shape of the croque-en-bouche.
